From the moment I touched a basketball, I knew it would be a part of my life forever. The game has shaped who I am — not just as an athlete, but as a leader, teammate, and person. I created The Elite Eight in June of 2023 to give that same opportunity to others — starting with a mission close to my heart: creating more space for women to compete at a high level.

As women’s basketball continues to grow and gain the recognition it deserves, I saw the need for a platform dedicated to elevating that movement. What began as a space for elite women’s competition quickly gained momentum and interest from the men’s side as well. That’s when I realized the vision was bigger — a place for everyone to compete, grow, and be part of something meaningful.

The Elite Eight is more than a name — it’s a mindset. Being elite is a choice: a decision to commit, compete, and carry yourself with excellence in everything you do. This organization was built to reflect that standard and to give every player a space to rise to it. Whether you're just starting out or have years in the game, there's a place for you here to grow, connect, and compete at your highest level.
